“I’d love to meditate, but I just don’t have time.”
This is a statement I hear so often. Many people feel so busy that sitting in silence even for ten minutes seems like a pointless activity. Other people try meditation then give up instantly as they expect an immediate result. To these people, it is true; meditation doesn’t work. That is because meditation does not have to work. It is a practice and mental training exercise; it does not deliver instant nirvana.
